Alim Pad 2: Brand new home in down town Houston

Positive: The rooms were amazing and it was a clean home

Only had the one night in Houston, but great house for a family and short trip to bars and centre Positive: The house was really good, large bedrooms and social space. Included a garage which then gave access to house. Houston is a large city and like large cities has a mix of streets, but was close to great downtown bars and restaurants. The street when we first drove in seemed a bit mixed, but in actual fact was down to a few houses that had not been kept as well as most of them, but was actually fine and the people we saw were really friendly. The house was actually quite close to one of the big Universities. The house itself was spacious and had a small garden with chairs and cover and was really nice. The hosts were excellent and really helpful which was appreciated. Negative: The initial appearance of the street, but as we drove down it and got the vibe of the area, it was fine, just down to a few less well kept houses as we drove into the street. The location was in fact great and the local area had a few of the most recommended bars when we were looking at places to go.

I liked that every bedroom, had a bathroom.

Never again Negative: Nothing really worked has several problems with getting in and out of this property, the led on the lights didn’t work , and the beds did not match the pictures , several leaks with bad smells , took the host forever to respond at times , the neighborhood is sketchy and the blinds were broke facing the street, the host tired to keep money from the deposit said there was throw up in the kids room when there was absolutely not we left it exactly how we found it

Dirty, unsafe area and shouldn’t be allowed on booking.com Positive: Leaving an hour after we arrived Negative: Dirty, fridge not working, neighbourhood, owner rude. False advertisement of decor. Broken toilet roll holders, in serious need of upkeep. Scuffs on most walls and up the stairs.
